“Jukebox Man” was actually written by Hank Mills — pen name of Samuel Garrett, who is also famous for having written “Girl on the Billboard” and “One Bum Town” (Del Reeves);  “My Big Truck Drivin’ Man” (Kitty Wells), and “White Lightnin’ Express” (Roy Drusky), among many others.

“Jukebox Man” is also the kick-off tune on 1971 Capitol LP, Doggin’ It
